We had just come off of a heat wave when I met this beautiful couple for their maternity photography session in Spring Lake NJ in mid May. The forecast kept us on alert all week with threats of storms, to just overcast, to a beautifully sunny evening. Summer weather is frustratingly unpredictable and likes to keep us New Jersey family photographers on our toes!
For this session, we started our evening off at Divine Park with the gorgeous lake as our backdrop and then moved over to the beach to catch those golden rays. It’s always fun when families choose two different locations for their sessions to give some variety to their galleries.
Here are the couple’s favorite pictures from their maternity session. I am the luckiest to capture these moments. They welcomed their beautiful baby girl just a few weeks after these were taken and I had the honor of documenting the new family of 3 in their adorable home.
