I visited my cousin the day she delivered her baby to capture those first few moments of his older siblings and family meeting him for the first time. At ages 4 and 2.5, big bro and sis seemed a little disinterested or maybe a little unsure of how to react at first, but then they got to hold him and they couldn't get enough. Both of them couldn't stop kissing him and asking to hold him. It was definitely one of those moments that warms your heart and you don't want to forget. I then returned a couple days later to get some pictures of Ryan on his own as the first go around was more about the siblings and family meeting him for the first time. He was so sleepy the whole time and just a little angel. Welcome to the family Ryan. You are such a lucky little boy to be surrounded by so many people who love you.

I always get excited when a family I'm going to photograph tells me they have a dog. Babies and dogs are some of my favorite subjects. Tyler, the Puggle, gave me a warm greeting as soon as I walked in and he helped me test my settings before Greyson was ready for his photoshoot. I swear every in-home session I've done recently has been on a day that it is either raining or snowing or just plain cloudy. Thankfully this family's home has plenty of windows and let in great natural light. The rain even held up long enough to allow us to take some photos in their backyard. Check out Greyson's sweet nautical themed nursery and how stinkin' loved he is by his parents and big brother Tyler. Congratulations Jena, Jason and Tyler! Greyson is a lucky little boy.
