Hi, I’m Michelle!
I’m the photographer behind the camera here, and this is my family. I have a free-spirited, dress-obsessed little girl, a baseball loving, outdoorsy boy and the most smiley and easy going baby girl– and I cannot wait to capture your family’s unique magic.
I started out as a Newborn and Postpartum Registered Nurse, caring for new mothers and watching their families grow. When I had babies of my own, I left to become a full-time mom – and I found myself constantly behind the camera. My babies were growing so fast, it nearly took my breath away. I wanted to freeze time and capture my babies’ moments of laughter and discovery.

I know what it’s like to watch a bump in your belly grow to become a living, breathing, running toddler – a full and fiery little human who transforms your family and your life. And I know what it’s like to feel like time is moving way too fast. When I get behind the camera, I’m there to capture who you and your children really are, how you play and care for each other. So that together, we can freeze time for just a moment.

Our studio is a cozy, bright lifestyle photography studio space in Oceanport, New Jersey conveniently located near Little Silver, Red Bank, Fair Haven and Rumson.
The Michelle Amy Photography studio is perfect for maternity photography and newborn photography sessions as well as documenting baby’s first milestones like sitting and baby’s first birthday cake smash.
The studio is equipped with a changing table, refrigerator, private changing area, full length mirror, glider, loveseat and access to a bathroom. We have a large screen TV for viewing your images after your session and sample products for you to view so we can design the perfect heirlooms for your home.
The main space can also be used for classes, events and gatherings such as childbirth education, baby care classes, lactation support, prenatal and postpartum education, caregiver and baby classes and more!
