About 17 years ago, I met a family that would change my life. They had four daughters, 1 older than me, 1 my age and 2 younger, but it would not be long before I considered them all my sisters. They moved into a home just beyond the woods behind mine. I grew up with them, celebrating various holidays and major events. The biggest event to date though, has to be the marriage of the oldest girl, Emma, on Saturday August 24, 2013. She married her "college sweetheart," a kind gentleman by the name of Charlie. The family adopted Charlie as one of their own, like they did with me. We are both relatively quiet, but we fell in love with this rambunctious Italian family and nobody knows how to party quite like an Italian family!
Emma has a creative soul and every detail of the wedding showed it. From the bridal party's shoes (TOMS high heals), to the table numbers (made from portions of a map), to the cake topper (Emma & Charlie with their dogs Barry & Maggie), everything appropriately represented Emma and Charlie's personalities.
While I was only a guest and not the official wedding photographer, I captured some very special and intimate moments I would like to share. I want to make it clear that I am not a wedding photographer. Emma and Charlie are very important to me and I wanted to capture their special moments on their big day for my own memories.
Without further ado, here are the photos! Please enjoy.
